Lies Mertens dedicated the design of her first accessories to two of her closest companions, Corsa - her first car and essential ally when starting a business and Hannelore - a lifelong friend and the person she could turn to with all her ideas and struggles.

Materials & production

Designed in: Antwerp, Belgium
Handmade in: Tunisia

- olive matte, black fine grain, moss fine grain, ivory fine grain, black croco, cognac croco — Italian cow leather
- navy calfskin — German calf leather

Interior: Italian cow leather

All accessories are created out of remaining leather from our handbag production, meaning the leather was too small to still be used for the production of larger items. By using these pieces of material we are trying to minimize our waste level and at the same time, we can create accessories in a wide range of different colours, all in limited quantities.
