The Romance Reader is a collab with the Brussels brand, JANUE. It is a collector's item where leather and canvas blend together — materials that are a big part of Lies Mertens and JANUE. The Romance Reader portrays a framed fragment like a painting: the representation of an embrace, a symbol of connection and friendship between Lies Mertens and JANUE.
On one side it shows a canvas painting of an embrace, the other side is in full plum leather. The bag can be worn in multiple ways due to the soft leather and adjustable strap. A shoulder bag, a crossbody bag and a clutch in one.

Interior: 100% Ivory coloured leather lining

We use Bpost Express for deliveries in Belgium, DPD for deliveries in the EU and UPS for deliveries outside of the EU. Delivery times and shipping fees depend on your location and the amount of your order.

14 days to return. Contact boutique@liesmertens.be including your order ID & name and we will arrange a return for you.
Purchases made in the month December get an extended return period of 30 days, due to the holidays.
