Balancing function and form
I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of making something that fits effortlessly into daily life, without compromising on form. To a quiet balance of design and purpose, where every detail has earned its place.
I test, refine, readjust, rethink. I add buttons and zippers, and then gently hide them to keep my designs as pure as possible. Small details matter, from the way a flap folds to how compartments fall into place. I believe in conscious creation, and in the time it takes to get there.

Starting from shapes and stories
As a graphic designer, I have always been attracted to patterns, compositions and the research that completes a design. When I started my own label in 2017, I found a way to combine these interests.
Searching for clean lines, organic shapes, and a sense of balance, I draw inspiration from all around me. There’s beauty in everyday things, whether crafted by architecture or shaped by nature. The smallest details can spark the idea for a form or reveal a need that I can explore further. Always curious, I want to learn more about what catches my eye.
Materials

The ongoing exploration of materials
I work exclusively with European materials, handpicked for their quality, durability and authenticity. Today, I work mainly with an environmentally responsible German tannery focused on local, low-impact sourcing.”
I’ve always been invested in research into durable, upcycled or innovative materials, and I keep on learning and adapting. Alongside leather, I’ve introduced new materials like VEGEA, made from grape waste, and MycaNova, grown from mycelium.
A bag is intended to be used, repaired and, eventually, passed on. It grows with you. The best materials are those that age with grace, becoming richer. That idea means a lot to me. So much so that I named my guesthouse and event location after it: Patina.
